Daily Tiffin - Are you picky about what your kids eat?

Its time for yet another article on the Daily Tiffin. Last time I talked about raising a picky eater.

This time, I address yet another 'controversial' topic by asking Are you picky about what your kids eat?

If this interests you, please check out the article. The link is above!

I do think that proper table manners are essential Dharm. I always made a game of it so that when we ate somewhere other than our own home we fun:D

Dharm-
The only thing I did a little differently with my children is only letting them have dessert (sweets) if they ate their dinner. I have 2 children that take after their father in that regard, and tend to have a sweet tooth. They are not picky eaters, though. I have always refused to be a short order cook in my kitchen. I always encouraged them to eat the dinner I have fixed. If they truly can’t stomach it (we all have foods we dislike) they are free to grab something nutritious out of the refrigerator for themselves. I do not fix them something "special". I try and steer them towards fruit if they need something sweet, but don’t always succeed. I do not buy processed baked goods, so I can control the ingredients.

My cousin has a skinny daughter and she says that ice cream is a good source of milk.
